Lomographer Max Pogadaev, a.k.a. max_pogadaev finds all sorts of creative intrigue from the usual scenes of everyday life in St. Petersburg.

Highly inspired by the buzzing street culture in St. Petersburg, the photographer has the rare talent to pick up several nuances and stories from the city and turn them into compelling images. Max photographs in both color and black-and-white. Landscapes and scenery in and out of the urban setting, portraits from all walks of life in St. Petersburg, both mundane and interesting happenings, even domestic pets are part of his body of work.

Nothing escapes his eye on such interests. Clever and unusual angles, clashing of colors and contrasts, dynamic lines of perspectives -- Max utilizes all elements to create the je ne sais quoi quality on his photographs.
