Sunny SoCal Shooting: Talya Adams' First Impressions of the New LomoChrome Color '92 ISO 400 Film

Talya Adams is a portrait photographer based in Los Angeles California. We sent her a roll of our new LomoChrome Color '92 ISO 400 (35 mm) Film to test and she took to sunny SoCal for some chill street shots. Let's take a look at her photos and hear her thoughts!

Hi Tayla, can you tell us about the concept for this shoot?

It was a bright day, so there's a chance I had the film at ASA 200. However, I could've left it at box speed because it was a new film I'd never tried. My concept for this shoot was a day at Venice Beach.

How would you describe the look of the LomoChrome Color '92 ISO 400 Film ?

I'd say this film is a colder look. More blues, teals and greens.

Do you have a favorite photo taken with this film?

My favorite photo might be the tricycle, dog in the basket, and the one following alongside. Or a strong second would be the dog in the body harness on the guy's back at the skate park.

What do you like most about this film?

I think this film handled skin tones pretty well.

How do you feel about a new color negative film being on the market?

I'm all for a new color negative film hitting the market. Variety is key for photographers as it allows us to differentiate ourselves from our fellow shooters.

What do you think is the perfect situation for shooting this film?

I'd say a bright sunny day is great for this film.

Which camera did you use with this film?

I used the Nikon FE with this test roll.

What are your hopes for the future of film photography?

I hope film photography continues to grow in popularity in the future, and that companies invest in providing photographers with more products to enjoy the medium.
