Back in the 50's the Salton Sea was seen as a desert oasis. There big plans for large communities near the sea. Folks still live here but there are lot's of empty roads with promising sounding names Honolulu and Maui, here are Sea Gem and Marina. Sea Gem road had a single burned out mobile home farther up the street.

    @bloomchen, thank you! I used Ilford 400 the scratches came from processing. Sometimes I get a roll like this and I've thought I had a bad back for the Hasselblad but I think it's just getting scratched in the tank.
